  • EDEN GARDENS WALK OF FAME! ~ Check it out during Carnival!  It will be located around the marquee in the back of the school!
  • GRADE LEVEL PARTIES! ~ Join your grade level for a fun filled party! $15 gets you involved in all the fun! Sign up during auction hours or reserve your spot early when the order form goes home.
  • RAFFLE PRE SALES! ~ Buy and place your raffle tickets before the hustle and bustle of carnival begins!

 

AUCTION TIPS 

If you aren't sure you'll be able to make it to auction on Saturday, or are worried about getting to the auditorium during the final minutes to make sure your bid holds, here are a few tips to help you WIN the item(s) you are going after.

  • Buy it Now!: We have added many buy it now items just for the "unavailable" bidder! Run in anytime Friday or Saturday and buy it now instead of waiting to see if your bid holds!
  • Get a Group Together: Many of the auction items cater to more than one student. For example, get your sports teams together to bid on the sports items, and most teacher features include 2 children. Find a friend in your class and bid together! You can all take turns placing your bids and free up a lot of time.
  • Come Friday: If you can't make it Saturday come Friday and place a bid. To ensure you win, try to place the bid for the highest amount you are willing to go. A lot of high bids may hold through Saturday.
  • Pass on your Bid #: If you want to continue to bid on Saturday but can't make it to the auditorium, give your bid # and bidding instructions to a trusted friend and let them do the bidding for you.
  • Raffle Pre Sales and The Social Network: Don't forget to buy your raffle tickets early and register for grade level parties early too! Send it in the week of auction.

Buy It Now Pricing!

This year there will be many auction items with the option to "BUY IT NOW." The following rules and procedures will apply:

  • These items are available for regular open bidding.
  • There will be a minimum starting bid and a minimum raise for each bid, as usual.
  • If you would like, you can choose to bypass the bidding process and buy the item immediately.
  • There will be a pre-determined price level set to purchase the item.
  • Regardless of where the bidding is, if you would like to, you can pay the set amount and purchase the item.
  • There is NO NEGOTIATION on the buy it now prices.
  • Once the item has been purchased with the buy it now price, it will no longer be available for open bidding.
  • "BUY IT NOW" pricing is denoted at the end of item descriptions within the preview booklet

 

Shuttle Service

Don't fight the parking and traffic. Park in the Blue Cross Blue Shield Parking lot behind Outback Steakhouse on Line Ave. and avoid all the walking! A bus will leave every 15 minutes to take you to and from the Carnival. The first shuttle will leave at 10:45 am from Blue Cross, and the last shuttle will leave from Eden Gardens at 3:15pm.

This year the auction opens early. Everything's the same as Saturday...just one night early! Come and go as you please. Browse items, buy raffle tickets and place bids! All bid numbers picked up Friday will be honored on Saturday - keep your bid card.  All auction and raffle rules apply and remain the same from Friday to Saturday. See the website or refer to your Preview Booklet for a full listing of rules. Preview Booklets will be in Tuesday folders.
