Zara Collins, here. When students are dropped off in my classroom, their education is in their hands and mine. My great passion is molding these young minds to be great citizens and great thinkers. I help them to try, fail, and try again. I help them to learn and grow individually and with each other. I help them to use technology as a tool for their education. That’s what I do and why I’m here.   I know that there are many approaches to teaching however, I’m trained in computer literacy and Web 2.0 tools, which means you’ll likely see a lot of tech use in my room. My educational background includes a BS in Elementary Education from LSU Shreveport. When I’m not shaping minds, I enjoy museums, theme parks, and taking care of my indoor plants.
