What to Expect in Fourth Grade!

  • The students will be preparing all year to take the LEAP test.  We will be working on the necessary skills that your child needs to ensure that he will do his absolute best on the LEAP test.  This year the test will be the week of April 12 – 16.

  • The fourth grade teachers would like for you to pick up your child’s assignments, even if he is out for only one school day. 

  • We will celebrate birthdays once a month.  Each teacher will send home a reminder to the parents of those students that are included in each month’s birthday celebrations.

  • In October we will attend the Red River Arts Festival.  This is a field trip that we look forward to every school year.

  • The "End of the Year" party theme is the 70’s.  We will order tie dye shirts for the children to wear with their khaki bottoms.   It is a “groovy” time for both the teachers and the students.
