URBAN SUPPORT
![]() |
Our Eagles are enjoying the Urban Support Afterschool Enrichment Program. We have had a BLAST completing our homework with our eagle friends and learning Spanish, exploring critical thinking activities, and physical fitness games outside. We have added writing according to the Common Core State Standards. The children are doing well with the extra practice in all these areas. Please click here to view recent activities.
Thanks to all our Eagle parents for writing numerous letters regarding your satisfaction with Urban Support. If you have any questions regarding Urban Support, please call Renee' Ellis at 861-7654 or 200-2498. Feel free to also e-mail any questions or concerns to rfellis@caddo.k12.la.us. Our enrollment is filled to capacity, but we do have a growing waiting list. Unlimited thanks to our Eagle parent volunteers. Your help is always welcomed and appreciated.
Urban Support is held Tuesday - Thursday. Buses depart at 4:40 pm and car riders at 4:45 pm. If there is inclement weather and Caddo closes schools, there will be NO Urban Support for that day. You will receive notification through the JCALL System.
Due to limited funding, Urban Support is only offered to 3rd & 4th grade students at Eden Gardens.
LAST DAY FOR URBAN SUPPORT IS TUESDAY, MAY 21, 2013!!!!

Our music program is in need of a new piano, and it simply isn't in the budget for CPSB. Mr. Maiden has such a fabulous musical program and needs an equally fabulous instrument to help showcase our students' talents! We have $2,334 towards the $10,000 needed. You have the opportunity to purchase keys or portions of keys from $2,500 to $25.50! Please consider donating specifically for the purchase of a new piano! |
LOST AND FOUND
Parents, please come in and check the lost and found bin, located in the cafeteria hallway. It is overflowing with sweatshirts, fleeces, and other items.
