President’s Message

Welcome back faculty, staff, parents, and students!!!  I am excited for this school year and look forward to serving as your PTA president.  Our PTA is off to a great start getting prepared for the new school year.  We have already logged some hours with school cleanup, uniform sales, school supply deliveries, and more.  I know our carnival, silent auction, book fair and open house committees are working hard preparing for the fall.

As we start a new school year, I would like to encourage you to join the PTA.  The National PTA’s Mission is “to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.”  By joining, the PTA, you have taken the first step to getting involved in our school community.  The next step is to volunteer.  We have volunteer opportunities before, during, and after school; on nights and weekends.  Whether you can volunteer ten minutes a day or ten minutes a month, any little bit helps.

Let us show our children that we are engaged in their learning, and let us show our faculty and staff that we celebrate and support them by building a strong PTA.

If you want to learn more about volunteer opportunities, or have ideas to improve our PTA, please feel free to reach out to me.
