What to Expect in Third Grade!

*Children will be learning their multiplication facts this year. Start practicing over the summer so your child will have them mastered before school gets started.

*This will be your child's first year to change classes. Please explain to your child that this is nothing to be anxious about. The teachers do a wonderful job of making it very easy and stress free.

*In February the children will have a celebration called "Louisiana Learning Festival."  They will study Louisiana history all year, and this is a way to show all that they have learned.  You won't want to miss this day of fun!  The teachers will need lots of parents to help make this celebration come to life.  Please do what you can to help out.

*The "End of the Year" party theme is a Luau. The children are allowed to wear Hawaiian print shirts with their khaki bottoms. Start shopping now during the summer sales before next Spring!
